Marketing Director

Full-Time Position

This is a salaried position that ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 and includes 4 weeks of paid time off, insurance (health, dental, disability and life), a matching IRA and flexible hybrid working hours.

The Marketing & Communications Director will be responsible for assisting to develop, implement and support long-range marketing strategies for TILT and its revenue-driving services as well as fundraising strategies.  The Director will develop and implement marketing campaigns as well as social media strategies. This position is tasked with integrating digital marketing assets, creating online content, updating and managing the organization’s website, driving brand awareness, and coordinating digital marketing campaigns.  Working with TILT department leaders, the Director will raise brand awareness, drive sales, and draft marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.  As a key thought leader at TILT, this is a key position within the organization while also allowing for creative freedom while  driving brand identity and fostering communication partnerships that reflect our Community Agreement.

Job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Identifies, cultivates and solicits new clients for services through online networks.
  • Develops and manages marketing/communications content strategy and develops content for internal and external communications.
  • Presents the brand, message, services and benefits of being a client of TILT
  • Identifies communication and marketing partners for exhibitions, events, education and fine art services
  • Create and post content for TILT’s Facebook, Instagram and other social media accounts.
  • Manage the design and creation of marketing assets such as promotional materials, design collateral and program guides.
  • Assist in the development of all strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and plans.
  • Write, execute, and deploy email marketing campaigns and web content.
  • Review and analyze, web analytics on an ongoing basis and generate monthly reports regarding site traffic.
  • Create and periodically refresh website with relevant information.
  • Support the team with upkeep of brand materials
  • Help effectively communicate TILT’s key differentiators
  • Build communication partnerships with other organizations
  • Coordinate with other TILT’s departments to develop and implement integrated marketing and internal communications plans to effectively develop TILT’s brand and sell its services.

This position has regular contact with members of the community and is expected to attend local arts events as a representative of TILT in a positive and professional manner. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking. Exemplary writing and communication skills and attention to detail are essential as well.
