March 14, 2024
6 - 8:30pm
TILT Institute For The Contemporary Image
Free & Open To The Public

Saint Piñero is a queer, Afro-indigenous photographer and curator based in South Brooklyn, New York. Their work is a meditation on memory, the queer archive, and transience. During their residency at TILT, Piñero will document drag shows in Philadelphia, building upon the archive they have amassed over the years. As an extension of their project, they invited New York based drag performers Xaddy Addy and Voxigma Lo to offer free makeup sessions and polaroid photos to commemorate the experience. The evening concludes with a brief performance by the multi-talented artists. Makeup will take place from 6-8pm, followed by a selection of performances.
