Night Sweats (2018)

Clifford documents his intimate relationships in traditional, everyday settings that reflect his experiences as a queer Black man living with HIV. Within these intimate encounters communion morphs into an offering of memory as a way to honor and celebrate one’s  personhood. Night Sweats documents the remnants of the virus that remain in the environment rather than the typical depictions of how the disease ravages the body.
