Thursday Night Photo Talk w/Dannielle Bowman

In this talk, Dannielle Bowman will discuss her recent work, process, and influences. 

Dannielle Bowman received a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. From 2019 – 2020, she was a contributor to the New York Times Magazine’s 1619 Project and in 2020 she was awarded the Aperture Portfolio Prize. Bowman has been an artist in residence at Baxter St at the Camera Club of New York; the Center for Photography at Woodstock; and PICTURE BERLIN. She was recently a recipient of the 2020 PHMuseum Women Photographers Grant and in 2021 she will participate in the Light Work Artist-In-Residence program. Her work has been published in Aperture Magazine and in recent Radius Books publication THREE, among other publications. Bowman has exhibited in the US and internationally. She lives and works in New York.
