Artist Sara Greenberger Rafferty and Carnegie Musuem of Art curator Dan Leers will speak about the process, concerns, constraints, and opportunities involved in working on an exhibition during the Covid pandemic. The exhibition opens in CMOA’s Forum Gallery in August 2021.
Sara Greenberger Rafferty is an artist based in Brooklyn. She was previously part of a three-person exhibition, Image/Object with David Kennedy Cutler and Ethan Greenbaum, at PPAC, also curated by Dan Leers.
Dan Leers is curator of photography at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh (CMOA). Leers has organized numerous projects at CMOA including Forum 80: Deana Lawson (2018); An-My Lê: On Contested Terrain (2020); and Trevor Paglen: Opposing Geometries (2020–2021).
