How to use your Creativity to Occupy the Future in the wake of COVID19

When one speaks of imagination and creativity, it conjures up how one can image and devise practices by using creativity to solve complex problems and challenges in these uncertain times due to COVID19. Sheila will discuss her acclaimed series #1960Now, which examines race, gender and generational divides to raise awareness of millennial perspectives on civil and human rights. Also, she will discuss the new work she is developing during these challenging times.

Bio

Sheila Pree Bright is an acclaimed National and International photographic artist known for her photographic series, Young Americans, Plastic Bodies, and her most ambitious project to date, #1960Now which was featured at the Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona, FL and the Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia. Bright earned an MFA in photography from Georgia State University and received the Center Prize from the Santa Fe Center of Photography for her series Suburbia in 2006.
