Teen Photo Exhibition

June 9 – July 1, 2022
Main Gallery

TILT is proud to present our annual Teen Photo Exhibition! This year’s cohort of students explored photography as a means for communication and articulation. Throughout the year, these artists explored multiple genres of photography and built impressive visual vocabularies.

The artists have taken a conceptual approach to their photography and crafted stunning collections of contemporary photographs. The themes explored throughout this exhibition are; closeness, fragility, mundanity, public space, representation, and tradition. Each artist’s perspective on these themes forms a larger, necessary conversion about the young person’s psyche and the importance of finding effective means of articulation.

Teen Photo is funded by the Dolfinger-McMahon Foundation, Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation, Julian A. and Lois G. Brodsky Foundation,  Forman Family Fund, PNC Charitable Trusts, The David A. Cook Memorial Fund, Henrietta Tower Wurts Memorial, Pincus Family Foundation, and the Rosenlund Family Foundation.
