Learn practical tools for licensing images and protecting copyrights with Thomas Maddrey is General Counsel and Head of National Content & Education for the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). Maddrey has a unique background: he was a professional commercial and fine art photographer who became an attorney and built a law firm specifically to serve the needs of content creators. His firm’s clients have included visual creators, fine artists, performing arts organizations, collectors, galleries, archives, museums, and other creative individuals and groups.

Oh, Snap! is a monthly lecture and workshop series that provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which to learn about photography and artistic practice. Oh, Snap! is a trans-inclusive space that welcomes all women and gender-nonconforming people. No experience with photography is required; all participants need is an interest in the medium and a willingness to connect with other people who are passionate about the arts.
