Louise O’Rourke · Jill Galloway Sherman · Anthony Wood

March 12 – November 30, 2020

Closeness presents three projects by three PPAC instructors: Louise O’Rourke, Jill Galloway Sherman, and Anthony Wood. Each photographer explores closeness with images about home, family, time and intimacy.

Louise O’Rourke documents the work of professional artists practicing in a range of mediums including glass, installation, and painting. This career path started with Louise’s involvement in the arts community at Slippery Rock. Photographing work for friends grew into her passion: a passion to capture art as it is. O’Rourke received her B.F.A. with an emphasis in photography from Slippery Rock University and attended graduate school at Ohio University. Instagram: @discarded_mattresses
