Karen Bailey takes a scientific approach to her practice, often experimenting with unorthodox processes to create abstract photographs of everyday objects and architecture. In 2021 she received the NY Photography Award, among other accomplishments. After retiring from a career in banking, Karen devotes her time to photography and serves as a member of Art 504, an artist collective based in Philadelphia.
