Cally Iden is a conceptual artist who works with mapping and identity. From aerial photography, to satellite images, to portraits from the ground, her most recent body of work is an investigation of the boundaries and incongruities of the human occupation of the landscape. She received a BFA from The Cooper Union in 2002 and an MFA in Photography from the Tyler School of Art in 2012. Currently, she teaches Digital Imaging at Tyler School of Art, and freelances as a photographer and videographer.
David Johanson is a Philadelphia-based photographer. Since 2010 he has taught at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. Previously he held faculty positions at Millersville University, University of the Sciences, and North Park University. He holds an MFA in photography from Ohio University. His interests include the history of photography, documentary film, architecture, the Renaissance, carpentry, steam locomotives, home renovation, good food & baseball.
Erik is the owner and instructor at EJM Photography located in southwest New Jersey. EJM Photography creates personalized portraits, inspirational images, and provides photographic coverage for special events and weddings. Danielle Morris is a self-taught photographer who mainly works in street and self-portraiture. Danielle is a teaching artist in Drexel University’s Writers Room, a university-community literary arts program engaged in creative placemaking and art for social justice. Danielle contributed to the 2018-19 “Women’s Mobile Museum” residency led by South African visual activist Zanele Muholi. She has exhibited at the Colored Girls Museum’s (2019), the 2018 SPACES Residency, “Home Court” lead by visual artist Shawn Theodore, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and The Barnes Foundation.
Louise works in the industry of photography as well, documenting the work of professional artists who work in a range of mediums such as ceramics, installation, painting, etc. This career path started when Louise was involved in the arts community at Slippery Rock. Photographing work for friends grew into her passion, a passion to capture art as it is bare to the eye. Haigen G. Pearson is an artist currently living and working in Philadelphia, PA. With a pop-culture fascination and a complicated relationship with consumerism, his work explores these cultural phenomena through a multidisciplinary approach of photography, video, sound, and graphic design. Nicole Schwartz is a female photographer from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. She was first taught photography at the age of six by her late grandfather. After her grandfather’s death in 2007, her hobby became her passion and it prompted Nicole to continue her education in Photography. In 2014, she graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Science in Photography and minors in art history and entrepreneurship with honors. Nicole was awarded the coveted T.C. Colley Award for Photographic Excellence from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2016 and graduated from RISD with her MFA in photography in 2017. She currently teaches in New Jersey and Philadelphia.Working in discrete series, Rider creates his imagery by constructing still life in the studio utilizing found objects and also through the use of abstract and documentary photographic styles. The compelling issue that has driven his work, is the interface and struggle between nature and manmade urban culture. All of his photographic projects share an elegant, visually compelling narrative and strong thoughtful, almost sculptural, composition.
Over the past 20 years Jill has been deeply involved with the Philadelphia arts and education culture. She began as a print assistant at Silicon Gallery and a photo retoucher at Cbop photo lounge while making her way in a new city. She started teaching at the former Art Institute of Philadelphia and is now an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s University. She is also a freelance consultant who works with a wide range of photographers guiding them to further develop their voice and craft.
Danna Singer is a working fine artist, educator and curator from Toms River, New Jersey. She received her BFA in from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY and received her MFA from Yale University. She has worked on photographic projects for Yale University, the ACLU and the New Yorker, among others. He most recently exhibited work at Candela Gallery, Richmond, VA and Silver Eye, Pittsburgh, PA and has been included in group exhibitions at the Aperture Foundation, the Perkins Center for the Arts, and the Annenberg Space for Photography.
