Sarah Stolfa is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Artistic Director of TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image. Stolfa founded TILT in 2009 to address the needs of working artists in Philadelphia, which included exhibition space for contemporary photography and access to a comprehensive digital lab.

Stolfa has an MFA in photography from Yale University School of Art and a BFA in photography from Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Stolfa’s work is held in both private and publications collections. Stolfa has served as an instructor at the Yale University Art Gallery, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Drexel University, the University of Delaware, TILT, and the University of Pennsylvania.
