TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image invites you to our annual fundraiser event, InVISION, on April 30, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm.
Join us as we celebrate our community of image makers with a night of drinks, music, great food, a photography auction, and an exhibition of artwork from How We Stay Free and Philly Photo Day, a community-wide open call to submit a photograph.
Every year, we celebrate a committed and joyful member of TILT’s community. This year, we will honor Julie Jensen Bryan, a dedicated supporter of the arts in Philadelphia and of TILT since our founding in 2009.
By supporting TILT as an InVISION Patron, you help raise the necessary funds that support TILT’s mission of supporting contemporary photographers and image makers of every level. All proceeds make it possible for TILT to foster a space for individuals to learn, network, create, and engage in creative dialogue through free exhibitions, programs, artist residencies, and youth education.

InVISION kicks off with a preview of Philly Photo Day. Philly Photo Day invites everyone to take a photo in Philadelphia any time between April 6 and 12 and submit their favorite one to TILT to be included in a free, public exhibition during InVision and open to the public till June 27.
All are welcome to participate as TILT initiates the prompt, How We Stay Free. The title of the exhibition in TILT’s main gallery will provide a springboard for photographers across the city.
The photographers in How We Stay Free are marking how protest movements help us to stay free, but individuals are also doing that each day, through even the most ordinary moments. Asking Philadelphians to show how they stay free in their day-to-day lives opens up possibilities for sharing community gatherings, family relationships, or encounters with nature. Celebrating freedom as a process and lived experience. And what better way to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary than by sparking conversation through images made by the people.
