TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image will be holding its annual fundraiser event, InVISION, starting at 5:00 pm on May 19th, 2022 at the Sculpture Courtyard. Join us as we celebrate our community of image-makers with an evening of food, drinks, performances, and music by Maya Simone. 

All proceeds from InVISION will raise necessary funds for TILT’s programming and events, exhibitions, educational courses and workshops, and artist residencies. In staying true to TILT’s mission, all funds raised will allow TILT to develop equitable and inclusive arts programming and create a space built upon trust and respect to best celebrate our community and its creativity. By joining us at our celebration, you are sharing the voice of the many collaborators, artists, and audience members in our community who walk through our doors. 

At InVISION, TILT is delighted to be partnering with Vox Populi, Philly Create, and Amaria Estes to bring you a night of entertainment, featuring talented artists and performers based in Philadelphia. This year TILT will be honoring TILT’s Founding Trustee and visual arts support and advocate, Mary Brown and photojournalist, educator and artist, Ron Tarver, for excellence in the field of contemporary image making. These awards honor and celebrate individuals in the community who support the mission of TILT through their work and practice.

We hope to see you on May 19th! There are multiple ways to take part in the fun and support TILT. Join us for dinner at 5PM or skip dinner and come straight to the celebration at 8PM for a night of dancing, music, and performances! Dress code will be casual chic – we hope to see you there in your creative finest!

TILT’s COVID19 Precautions: For the dinner portion of the evening, TILT will be complying with COVID19 safety protocols, including properly spaced out tables and doors open to the courtyard to allow for ventilation. The Sculpture Courtyard is partially an indoor/outdoor space that allows for consistent air flow. The celebration event will occur entirely outside. TILT is consistently monitoring city and state guidelines and will follow protocols as dictated.
